The Foreign Minister of the Syrian Social Nationalist Party in Lebanon, Qaiser Obaid, condemned the unilateral coercive economic measures imposed on Syria and some countries in the region, pointing out that these measures have begun to threaten the stability of European countries.

In a statement after his meeting today with Spanish Ambassador to Lebanon Jose Maria Ferreira, he stressed the importance of Spain playing a pivotal role within the European Union in order to take steps towards the region distinct from the American administration and contribute to strengthening relations between the countries of the region and European countries. Europe is the first to make efforts to stabilize the region because its stability is stable for Europe and the world.

He called on the European countries to play an active role for the return of the Syrian refugees by terrorism to their regions and their homeland.
