Idiot Americans they will pay more money for cheap products because of government tariffs 😂 Most of American big companies manufacture their products in China and overseas so at the end American consumer will always pay the difference of prices and government will make money then give it to the rich banks and military rich industry and American people are always screwed 😁👌

Integrity comes with a price. If we want to force a country to do what we want this is the wrong way to do it. Tarrifs are not effective for anybody.

What tariffs are doing is like sacrificing your legs to get their eyes. The issue of IP theft is completely different as he mentioned. Think about this, by imposing sanctions on Iran, aren't you forcing them to rely entirely on local industries. That should have made them better off, if protectionism was good.

Tariffs are great for consumers. Consumers in the American economy are also, usually at least, workers. That means, if wages are increased for most American consumers – long term, understood as the most likely scenario from tariffs – they can afford more things. Unfortunately, the Ron Paul manner of libertarianism is irrelevant today. Free markets very existence has been proven false, and if you don't like that fact, I recommend looking into the work of Friedrich List.

The truth of the matter is Americans will never work manufacturing jobs or IT tech jobs for $10 an hour. The US cannot compete in the Global Free Market.

So he'd just give them the lower corporate tax rates with nothing in exchange for working class Americans? I side with Trump on that one. I wish there was someone that supported both civil liberties and strict immigration. The same way Trump supports both lowering corporate tax rates and tariffs.

American consumers are going to pick the less expensive products, that's why countries place tarrifs, to discourage buying foreign goods. The US has the largest consumer economy. Mexico has no other place to sell their stuff.

What must be realized by your form is that thier are affluents behind the scences w thier own agendas. For example, long ago India states that man was being pulled to the ground..India extended affluence into the Eygptian area where they where dragging stones building pyramids, w Abram..they planned to retaliate and percieved continium would deposit these dragger of stones into India account. There was something else at work however, that productively utilized this and incorporated developed..into comprehensive schematical language for the worlds betterment. USSR was collapsed in place of Christianity with Chernobyle Noble House difficulties, realizing a put in… Read more »

Ron Paul talks a big game yet never seems to bring up a better alternative for anything he complains about.

Libertarianism is not practical as a stand alone philosophy or ideology hence why you don't see it practiced in any government! It would allow dictators and the like to take over parts of the world because of it's non-interventionist position, it would allow for open borders so companies can have access to cheap labor, it wouldn't allow companies to be regulated so they would contaminate the environment etc. and claim that the markets will determine xyz while the people's quality of life is affected, and so on and so on…Ron Paul offers philosophical responses to real world questions…that is why… Read more »
