Ron Paul speech to Tea Party uncensored

Rep. Ron Paul brought a crowd at the Virginia Tea Party Patriots Convention to its feet October 9th, delivering a fiery speech about an “intellectual revolution.” He said the economy is going “to get a lot worse before it gets better” and advocated getting rid of the IRS and the income tax.

Spending doesn't fuel an economy.

You have it backwards.

Capital investment comes from savings, interest at 0%, means no savings.
Pumping money into the system to simulate savings, only means Mal-investment.

You want people to spend money true, to drive demand.. But you have to have supply, and supply comes from the aforementioned capital investment.

What good is supply without demand, though?

What is your solution?

A market rate of interest, so that there's capital to invest….

An interest rate of 0% means peoples savings don't grow, and aren't then invested. Productivity will increase due to that capital investment, which will then increase supply. When supply is higher prices come down, thus driving demand…

When supply is low, because you've spent all the money, prices go up, and the consumer gets hit.

Productivity is everything.. People will always "want things"

There is never too little demand. The distortions in the structure of production you're talking abut are a consequence of price manipulation. State socialisation/monopolisation of money and banking and distorted interest rates are what produce these price bubbles. The solution is liberty.

You can't accept Keynesianism without accepting as logical the notion that violence is productive. We can increase the demand for labor by driving our bulldozers into lakes.

If people have no money, there is little demand, especially for things that are not necessary.

People have less and less money under a debased and counterfeited fiat currency forced on them so the state can monetise debt.

Yes, that's the Austrian view. I'm not sure that's correct, though.

Because the voting system is rigged… The same banking cartel (JP Morgan, Rockefeller, Rothschild) own both parties. They decide who gets the nomination and then the people then vote on the two nominees that the banks have put up. A real american will never win the election or president untill there is a full scale revolution here in america. Good thing is people are waking up and seeing through the bullshit.. THERE WILL BE REVOLUTION IN AMERICA BY THE END OF NEXT YEAR!

Ron Paul for president yeah!, we need logistic people on government not nonsense fantasy economics of borrowing and fiat money the fact that most mobs are criticizing something that has not been lived through is horrendous, a free society dream it's been long gone in the USA since 1913, little by little the monster has grown into a perfect kraken, people is so used to this that cannot believe in other ways of government. The current policies do not work why people still believe in all the crap that's in the propaganda of national security and welfarism?

While I used to love Ron Paul I realize if he was elected president we'd go through a good 10-20 years of depression. Just because of the changes he would try to make. Wouldn't be able to make half of them. But I'm sure it may be better after those 10-20 years. For a little while at least until his system starts to show it's flaws too. I'm of the opinion no economic system works all that well, nor governmental system. Simply because non has ever lasted all that long and in general these systems are reflections of humanity. And… Read more »

His son is about to lead the way to run a train on this shit in the next two years. The Senate will turnover, the House will be a greater majority. The governorship and both levels of congress at the state levels are already owned by Republicans and will only get more. You conservatives need to get hard and draw the line in the sand, this is the last chance. The good thing is you will have one last chance. We ain't done yet fuckers. The good thing with us millenials is that no one watches TV, so we ain't… Read more »

I'd like to see Ron Paul win just to see how long it'd take the "Powers that be" to take him out. Paul has some very good ideas for Americans and bad ideas for "the Powers that be"

I do not understand how so many people can get behind Ron Paul it might sound good but if you take a minute to research most of his statements and ideas you realize he does not understand basic economics, basic business, policy, government, or history. Most of his solutions only worsen the problem and he continues to rant on about ideological issues that do not matter. As far as the base constitution is concerned it was meant to be changed. That is why we have an amendment structure. This is because even the founding fathers realized they could not predict… Read more »

Stop with starting so many conflicts. It costs the taxpayer billions and billions. No, not millions but billions. The only one that benefit from that are the neocons. Americas large weapon industry with their shareholders, who are politicians and high ranking men in the military. If America had spent that money for America and its people, there wouldn't be misery. And that's a fact. Also, stop listening to fear mongers. But there's a new problem: the new oil pipeline. It won't make America richer, the opposite is true.

4 years ago and people still remember Ron Paul's message and the libertarian message. No one have ever been this influential in the history of America. Thank him, for he has set a seed that will blossom in the future, now if we can only elect a libertarian minded president, considering that that position have so much power. Thank your god for Ron Paul.

Almost six years since Mr. Paul informed the American people about the total corruption of America by the 'neo cons'. It ain't the 'neo cons' that have fuckied up America, it's the goddamn JEW and 'our' JEW corrupted politicians, loyal only to their bank accounts and the JEW that bribes them. When are the American people going finally be so 'FED UP' with the INSANE, COWARD, CORRUPTING, TRAITOR JEW BASTARDS, BORN ANYWHERE, LOYAL ONLY TO ISRAEL?WHAT THE FUCK IS IT GOING TO TAKE TO PICK UP OUR GUNS AND VOTE FOR THOSE WE DON'T WANT ALIVE IN AMERICA ANYMORE, 'OUR' JEW… Read more »

People must never forget that the supporters of then-Congressman Ron Paul created and started the true, real original modern Tea Party of the 21st century (different from the Tea Party movement that followed after February 19, 2009) on December 16, 2007, 234 years after the original Boston Tea Party of December 16, 1773. Why would I make a big deal on who really started the TROMTP? Because of this user "C0le" from the Above Top Secret website (it's a long comment): "What happened is simple, the original movement attacked the problem at the source, the Federal Reserve, and we all… Read more »

I'm sure this was before the Tea Party became mainstream news. But look at how Dr. Paul exposes the federal reserve on numerous accounts. Incredulous to know something sketchy is happening to the people. Let's end it!

lovethetruth/government/federalreserve How do taxpayers stop financing those whose purpose it is to destroy us? First, expose their activity, then demand change.   THE SOLUTION:Currently all we do is exchange FED money (interest attached) for real U.S. money (interest-free) dollar for dollar as Kennedy tried to do. We should not be required to pay interest on our own currency. According to Benjamin Franklin, this was one of the primary reasons we fought the Revolutionary War. Today we are still fighting the same family of bankers (Reference 4, Reference 1, P. 211, 212). The U.S. Government can buy back the FED at any… Read more »
