Ron Paul going full force to Republican National Convention

Ron Paul is the candidate that continues to be ignored by the mainstream media, but he is still in the game. The Texas congressman and his supporters continue to push towards the Republican National Convention in Tampa, Florida, but many doubt Paul’s delegate strategy will give him the GOP nod. So what can we expect from Paul at the RNC? Brian Doherty, senior editor at Reason.com, joins us with more on Paul’s new strategy heading to the RNC.

Depends on which state you live in, Iowa has a write in. I shall write in my choose The person best for the Job which is Ron Paul but if he Indorses Gary Johnson then I shall vote for him but I highly doubt he shall. I look at this and see Ron Paul is still in the race he won many states GOP and the others are just liars and cheats commenting high Treason against the People

I think that all states allow you to write in a name, but that's not my point. My point is that unless you have a major, well funded write in campaign such as when Senator What's her name won re-election in Alaska in 2010 your vote isn't even going to be noticed. It's a waste of time. Ron Paul has lost. As for Gary Johnson, why do you need Ron Paul's permission before voting for Johnson. I like Ron Paul, but one of the things that bother me is that many of us treat the man like he's God. He's not.

I agree he is not a god, he is a person with the values that I hold dear, sworn to protect. I don't know if you ever served in the military? That does not matter it is our duty as Americans to hold the very values and laws that the forefather's laid out and place the check and balance's back in place. The Fed is a blight on the foundation of this country. We need to do away with the tax and get a stronger dollar or we shall see collapse of the USA and we shall be in debt… Read more »

I agree that we are in dangerous times and our country is in need of saving, but Ron Paul will not be the President. He will not be there to lead us and consequently we need to concentrate on the next stage of our movement–the post Ron Paul Age. We need to put more liberty candidates in government,we need to infiltrate the GOP and maybe aid Gary Johnson's candidacy. It's now a waste of time and effort to concentrate on Ron Paul. We need to embrace the future. We still need to save the country.

I agree with all your saying but Gary Johnson is unproven and unknown to me. I don't watch TV but I do my research.

I Ron Paul is not significantly on the ballot in some way we need to rally behind Gary Johnson!!

You seem to have quickly lost hope in Ron Paul and are eager to get people to ditch him. Perhaps you are a Romney supporter ("If I don't vote for Romney…").

I've been a Ron Paul supporter since 2008 and I've voted in the general election for the Libertarian Party nominee since 2000. But, it's now over for Dr. Paul. This is unfortunate, but being a believer in reality I no longer see a reason to waste my energies on a campaign which is over. I like Gary Johnson and if he proves himself capable of winning,I'll vote for him. However,Obama is too dangerous to cast my only vote for a losing 3rd party candidates &,as such,I may vote for Romney.

Now I understand why your mind is so confused…

Too late. I've already been to Britain(a nation which I love),but your country has it's own problems. In fact part of what this election is all about is the prevention of Obama's attempts to europeanize America.

I'm not the least bit confused. I know exactly what I'm about…and why.

I repeat what I said…..I have reviewed 75% of everything you have commented on, I won't do as you and claim some type of intellect over you, I don't need to, you have proven how you are nothing more than someone still begging for attention and trying to somehow prove your worth and "reality" mindset around peers that don't exist, maybe you should watch Oprah re-runs and really listen to what you sound like…

What was that little fellows name that got into the mix and threw the race for the Communists, I mean Democrats? He looked and sounded like a mouse, he was a good fellow, he helped tremendously fellow Americans, he should have stayed where he was…dammit, you know, like the other libertarians that are nothing more than Kremlin lap-dogs, he spent a bunch of money just to throw the election….oh yea, those sucking sounds of jobs going to Mexico, hey, it was Mr Ross Perot…write him in!

Have you really took the time to review 75% of my comments? LOL. Three years of comments is a lot of comments. Even I haven't reviewed my comments. Have you no life? As for psychoanalyzing a perfect stranger's psyche based on that person's anonymous remarks I really don't think you are bright enough to do that Dr Freud.

It is amazing how a "Russian" media outlet comes up with such nonsense, doesn't Dr Paul fly a flag with a red star? 100 bucks says he has RT on speed dial…of course if anyone in the US "trusts" any politician, regardless of party, sex, race or level, local, state and/or federal, go seek mental health advice "ASAP", your mindset depends on it, just read some of the comments here and you will see how it can be easily swayed and misinformed and could be considered slightly retarted…
