Ron Paul announces 2012 presidential bid

Ron Paul has thrown his hat into the race for the 2012 presidential election, marking the third time that the Republican congressman will vie for the role of commander in chief. After two failed bids, why should Americans look toward Paul this next time around? Trevor Lyman is an activist in favor of Paul, and he says it is the politician’s stance on the principles of what makes America great and his devotion toward the Constitution that make him the perfect candidate for the country today.

Even if Ron Paul doesn't win he'll succeed in WAKING people up to the fact that this current Gov't is out of control and needs to be reeled in and wrapped up in the CONSTITUTION. Bring our soldiers home, get rid of the Fed, IRS and start shrinking Gov't to a managable size.

@WatcherIsWatching Your fucking hilarious but more stupid. This is the first time i've ever heard Ron Paul being grouped in with the status quo. You should seek mental health services

@mr19932001 I didn't agree with some of his views at first, but the more you here him speak, the more you understand his point of view and agree with him. You can't trust the Government to look after you, they simply don't have your best interests at heart.

@WatcherIsWatching Until you get invaded by a neighboring country, then you come begging for us to protect you. Thats cool you know who Charlie Sheen is, because i can guarantee I dont know one fucking celebrity from whatever lame ass country you are from.

This election we must recognize politicians that say what they do and have a consistent voting record, Otherwise we will get the same. Last chance to stay free and save our wealth, or whats left of it. Which brings me to this conclusion its a no brainer Ron Paul has it all.

Ron Paul reject's science. He says he doesn't accept evolution and he called global warming a hoax! Who in their right mind would support anyone that is so out of touch with reality? Probably about as many as supported him last time.

@theunknowncove Hey, I've been to that cove!
That's an easy thing to say but sorry to inform you, you have no evidence for it.
Oh that's right, must be a global conspiracy that has lasted over 30 years and has corrupted all the researchers that completed the studies. Maybe they're under the control of a UFO! Keep your aluminum hat on!

Is it anyone elses concern that one of the most unbias TV programs we have in the states is called RussiaToday?

Bolt6604

@ReduceGHGs There is a difference between rejecting something and having a different view. I for one am not a pot smoker, yet most of my friends love the stuff. I reject it, they dont, who cares?

ReduceGHGs

@Bolt6604 .
His "different view" is totally unsupported while the established view has a solid foundation. Choose which is the most reasonable to have.
I care if people smoke or not. I would prefer they not risk future physical harm to themselves. In addition, smokers cost we taxpayers. That's why the cig tax keeps going up. So yes, I care about others and I care about paying unnecessary costs.

By 2015, you're going to wish you had Mickey Mouse for President! Real Change…, does that imply real human beings! Someone bring back George Carlin: Garbage in, garbage out! Liberty brings people together…, he means money, preferable dirty money, like drug gangs or as with the Kennedy family: Bootleggers! The American way: Fuck over everyone you come in contact with, act like Tammy Baker in front of the cameras, and get as filthy rich as you can on the suffering of others: Liberty!

@ReduceGHGs
You pay more taxes for when people get arrested for doing things that only harm themselves.

ReduceGHGs

@bklein1389 .
Is there a point? I'm just not in the mood to justify the legal system or try to tell you there isn't waste and injustice in this world.
Perhaps you think ron paul could fix all that is wrong.

@Bolt6604 I second that as well. I myself was a pot smoker in my youth but still have many friends that smoke, for me its a non issue, that is their choice and never has been a problem for me as they dont push on me, once I made my personal choice to quit. I myself will never smoke again but then again I will not dump my freinds because they choose to smoke pot.

Let's see uh, Ron Paul is not associated with corruption, why don't the mainstream media and other politicians like him. I bet it's because they are the scum pieces of shit that has helped to get us where we are.

He won't win only because the people love their sickness of greed and taking from others so they have what they want at the price of millions of lives. This is a war of those for truth and justice and those who would kill their own loved ones for fancy houses and cars. Power hungry l

. Power hungry lustful dead souls. Let's show them that the truth and justice will win and continue to win.

@reduceghgs

The reality you say… The truth is many countries in Europe are abandoning evolution as a theory and global warming ha changed to climate change because that is what it is a perfectly normal cycle. I am all for using new and more viable sources of energy but you sir are sooooooooooo misinformed. Ron paul raised over 10 million in two days. Ok so he has people behind him.

@reduceghgs
I wish people like you would grow some balls and think for yourself. Ask questions and demand real answers. Stop being selfish and following the evil establishment that gives this illusion that we can police the world kill innocent people and consume until we are 400 pound pieces of lard retarded and apathetic. I mean do some research into any issue an the truth speaks freely. Your motive is the problem here. You are selfish and it along with others like you will lead is to distruct

@wallaceju The world is changing, if the power of youtube, twitter and facebook can overthrow governments then you can bet he has a chance.
Vote Ron Paul…. in 2008 he had 24% of the voters and his popularity has grown a lot since then.

teddybruscie

I'll vote for him because he's the only politician who know from his track record who will do something. Even if he dont fix everything, even if our economy doesnt get back on track we at least know he will get something done.

John Wu

@MrAlexanderLynn lol i can actually picture him living that long. if ron paul gets struck down by a light saber, he'd still be there in spirit and i'll still vote for his spirit in 20120

@jamil316 You can call or email Ron Paul's campaign and see if they can have it done. they will probable do more then one cause your a rolling billboard and gets seen all over. it sure would be cheaper then renting a large stationary one.

Kucinich and Paul piss off the system by telling the truth. Ron Paul is the real deal! I hope Ron Paul gets elected, but people have to vote. In California on the marijuana vote we saw what low turnout does . Voters under 40 were in favor of the bill by a 60% margin , but it lost . Why? Young people didn't vote. Voters under under 25 only had a 12% turnout! That is pathetic , if 25% of registered voters under 25 had voted the bill would have passed, but only seniors seem to vote.
