Why is our illegal and immoral foreign policy not included as one of the major concerns within this movement, since it's directly related to this completely fraudulent monetary system? I really thought the majority of people within this "so called" liberty movement were awake and aware enough to understand how these illegal wars simply:
1) Allow insiders to get extremely rich (at the expense of innocent lives)
2) Enable easy justification for stripping more freedoms with little to no resistance

Americans do not have the same definition of Libertarian Socialism/Communism as the rest of the world, in spite of it being the same in their dictionary, which they probably never read.

It is a result of years of cold war indoctrination where the powers that be successfully introduced into the minds of the population their preferred projected false image of what they actually are. They also succeeded in creating a blind & deaf spot as far as the world wide accepted definition.

So using an infrastructure and technology created by major corporations and the state via the military industrial complex,(the Internet),is an example of Libertarianism in action?
What a strange proposition.I'm not a big fan of the state, but that example was fatuous and ill informed. If this is the level of their analysis then color me unconvinced.

The trouble with American libertarians is that most of them want to free their countrymen from the oppressive control of government (which is naturally a good thing), seemingly only to make it easier for private corporations to have at them. I like America very much, I have a few dozen cousins, aunties and uncles in Boston, but their unwavering faith in the benevolence of the private sector is just naive. We deserve freedom from corrupt public officials and greedy corporate neofeudalists.

In a free market, no person or organization or firm would be in a position of oppression. Businesses would gain profit, if consumers like what they have to offer. The less satisfied the consumers are, the more new businesses would enter the market. You have to distinguish between free-market capitalism and crony-capitalism. The banks, for example, are blatantly crony-capitalist: regulations are written to keep new entrants out, and, when the banks fail, government bails them out.

I always hear this. And then every single corp that both you hate (and libertarians do) has insane funding from subsidy, bailouts and specialized laws. Most who admit they wouldn't exist w/o it. (Like the banks & bailouts, Monsanto and genetic patent laws etc)

Yet when it comes to pulling the plug on their power Libertarians are for it, and you aren't.

So who is being contradictory?

Yes, and he's the only one really outspoken regarding an anti-war stance. Nobody else, including his son, really seems to include this sentiment as a prioritized part of the agenda. Instead, they pander to these phoney co-opted tea party sheeple types who still believe there's an actual difference between dems and repubs. I'm tired of talking to people who say, "yea Ron Paul's cool except for his foreign policy ideas", when in fact those ideas are what truly set him apart from the establishment.

I wrote what I wrote to see if there was any Libertarian leftists on this page…. I would say it is where my beliefs are closest to.

That is no way to talk about Abby Martin… She is the intellectual Queen of RT…

Surely not I, mate. Send me links supporting your argument and I'll give them a fair hearing. But I mean David Koch was accepted as your Libertarian Party's VP nominee in the 1980's, obviously he was to a great extent accepted as a legitimate libertarian. And look what he and his brother have done, they've made themselves obscenely rich while outsourcing your jobs, and championed shite like Citizens United that removed regulations blocking corporate bribery in your reality show elections.

I've learned very clear not to think ad-hominem, as it's the easiest way to be deceived. Hitler loved puppies, that make puppies terrible? Bush in 2000 said the US should be a humble nation and lead by example, no nation building. Was that statement he made incorrect? No. Would I vote for him? Hell no. ppl can say or be affiliated with right/wrong things w/o being right or wrong themselves. The easiest way to smear is by ad-hominem.

As for links. One moment please.

Btw. I'm not a fan of David Koch, and you don't have to be. You can agree with some of the stuff he says, (that many other good ppl say as well) and not support him, b/c his actions and the quality of his character is far too low.

The populace is under a divide and conquer policy. We let the really stupid things we argue about divide us enough not to cement efforts on issues we all consider wrong. I'm happy to argue about the little stuff in a world where the big stuff is fixed.
