UK Assassinates British Citizens In Syria

British Prime Minister David Cameron announced that he conducted a drone strike that killed, among others, two British citizens in Syria on suspicion of terrorist activity. Is this a major escalation, and what does it say about the 2013 UK parliament vote against bombing?

Unfortunately, the citizens waking up, aren't going to be us. Aside from relatively rare attacks, we don't directly experience America's militarism.

The citizens and soldiers that we bomb regularly, are fully awake. Or at least, those who are still alive, are aware.

Drone strikes are primarily carried out by civilians sitting in an safe, comfy office somewhere (e.g. Langley). These are illegal combatants and they are making those areas of the US and of the UK a legitimate target. They are encouraging illegal combatants (e.g. "terrorists", just like themselves) to behave in a way that is not in accordance to the rules of war. Drones are fairly low tech and even long distance drones will soon be in the hands of civilians even in backwards countries.
