A recent Gallup study has found that nearly half of Americans view the US government as the greatest threat to life and liberty, a three percent increase from last year. Is America becoming more libertarian?

I was talking with a British man the other day who said,
"How sad that a nation sees their government as the enemy."
I then educated him on how our Founding Fathers thought that government is to be small and distrusted.
I haven't heard from him since.

Hope so, you need to clean up the Zionist-Neocon scum government that destroys and terrors half of the world (hopefully Russia and China may save Syria from this general's list: )

+Jats Are you talking about the English founding fathers by any chance? Lets not forget that your first 8 Presidents were English as is your Constitution – its a variation of the Magna Carta 1215 which was just one of our revolutions, At the same time as the English were fighting the government in the New World, the English were fighting the government in England. They just forgot to tell you.

So many people bad mouthed Ron Paul when he ran for president. He is the ONLY previous presidential candidate I have seen who has always stayed the course. His stance on civil liberty has not changed and he has never flip-flopped.
There are people who said they didn't like him because of his "squeaky voice"…so narrow-minded.
Now I bet people are kicking themselves for not supporting him.

I don't know if anybody happened to catch Elizabeth Warren on The Late Show w/Colbert last night. Good lord! It was like listening to the anti-Ron Paul. Talk about a nosey busy-body who wants to infiltrate and dictate everybody's business! The last thing we need is a nagging tyrannical public-school-teacher type running government.

Typical Ron Paul interaction:
GUEST: It sure is great to be with you here today!
RON PAUL: Good.

What is Homeland Security and why do we need them? They are nothing more than a National Police Force; bad news for a former Republic!

The US government is the biggest threat to peace and security on earth. Including to our own people. US citizens are currently at a 40 TIMES greater risk of being murdered by a soldier-cop than they are to be harmed in ANY way by a terrorist. Cops now ARE the terrorists.

You people gave me courage today. Just when I thought no one else feels as much disdain for the state as I do… you proved me wrong.
Has anyone read Gene Sharp's "From Dictatorship to Democracy"?

Only 50% fear their government in America? That's not nearly enough. How many of the 50% have the 'moral courage' to act on, or voice their fears in public? (not many)

Well, I'm not young but I voted for you Ron. Hell, I even wrote your name in after the republicans forced you to drop out.

Dr. Paul you make a great point about one side opposing another by "upping the ante" on government action. But more importantly you really emphasize a key point: It is not advantageous to overthrow government or to give up in the political process all together. Better to stand up for liberty and if the government doesn't listen they will collapse on their own accord.

Every time I have ever given up on this country, Ron Paul has been there to restore my faith in it. I don't know what I would do without you sir. Thank you

The highest levels of the Fascist U.S. Government are responsible for 9/11 that is why the people fear the psycho Government. 9/11 = 1776
