The Permanent Mission of the Syrian Arab Republic to the United Nations in Geneva organized a screening of the film “Judicial Response”, which tells the epic of Aleppo Central Prison and its legendary steadfastness in the face of the siege of terrorist organizations for more than a year and a half, in front of a group of ambassadors and diplomats accredited to the organization and members of the Syrian community. In the context of its activities during the current session of the Human Rights Council, the mission, in the presence of Deputy Speaker of the People’s Assembly Necdet Anzour and a group of ambassadors and diplomats accredited to the United Nations and members of the Syrian community, organized a special presentation of the film ” “Which tells the epic of Aleppo Central Prison and its legendary steadfastness for more than a year of the siege imposed by the terrorist Nasserist Front and its allied terrorist groups on the prison.
The Permanent Representative of Syria to Geneva, Hossamuddin Ala, said in a speech that the film sheds light on the human suffering suffered by the Syrians as a result of the crimes committed by the extremist terrorist organizations, whose crimes and practices are often absent from the politicized reports of the United Nations and the coverage of Western media.
Ala said that the epic of the Central Prison of Aleppo, to which the film “Judicial Response” is being presented, is a realistic story that exemplifies the multifaceted war that has targeted Syria over the past years and confirms that the will of life and the resistance spirit of the Syrians ultimately led to the defeat of terrorism Which was the main instrument of this war.
In the dialogue that followed the screening of the film, Anzour, who directed the film, said that the film shortens the suffering that the Syrians have faced in the face of terrorism and extremism and transfers this suffering from an artistic and creative point of view and presents it in a realistic way that reflects the vision of those who experience and face these events.
He pointed out that the artistic production did not stop during the years of the war on Syria, and reviewed some of the films that addressed that reality and reversed it, including the film “Man of the Revolution” and the film “Vannia and dissipated” and continued strongly despite the embargo imposed on it, which extends the various aspects of economic activity, cultural, artistic and social.
Anzour said that the screening of the film at the United Nations headquarters came to break the siege.
