Yesterday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants signed a memorandum of understanding for the receipt of the Chinese government’s grant to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants. The Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants, Ayman Sousan, said that the grant is an embodiment of the deep-rooted historical friendship between Syria and China and must contribute to overcoming the unjust and unjust coercive measures imposed by the sponsors of terrorism against Syria.
For his part, Chinese Ambassador to Damascus Phyong Biao stressed the firmness of his country’s stance towards Syria, pointing out that his country has provided humanitarian assistance since the beginning of the crisis in support of Syria’s steadfastness, indicating that he will make every effort to raise the level of cooperation and communication between the two countries.
